the second day of the snowy day. perhaps you may think we may still be not affected by snow and hiding under the warmth of the hotel , then you are wrong! this yellowstone lake has different form of accommodation to meet the needs of different people (i think) we usually work in yellow cabins that are outdoors and stand alone one by one on the roads, their window view is mainly trees and other cabins outside , not forgetting snow too.. all of us each morning have to stock up our wheel barrow carts with all the necessity and set of to the rooms to clear.. this morning the weather was fine though chilly still,then it starts to drizzle and the drizzling is not normal drizzle, the rain drop is cold enough to pierce through your skin.. it normally will drizzle before it snows... and i am dumb enough to close the room door and left my jacket in the room and the keys in my jacket.. then when the door closed behind me , shit was what i exclaimed.. asked for help in the rain of course.. then it finally started to snow! the view from the cabin is so nice..but working in the snow is not fun at all really..with the wheelbarrow stocked up with piles of snow, with the already heavy weight laden with the additional snow weight..the vaccuum cleaner became piled with white snow! and ah cai and me were lucky enough to finished our rooms and summon to clean a tornado room 605.. ah cai saw this room the day before and they knew how disastrous the room was.. she even had the premonition that she will be made to do this room , she felt lucky that this room was not preassigned to her in the morning, but nonetheless it came to me and her like the end of our day of work when it started to snow and snow.. in this tornado room of 605 the furnitures were all disarranged, the coffee table moved to the corner of the toilet, the toilet bowl stuck and filled with water, with my few flushes it leads to the toilet to flood with water, with pampers strewn in the dustbin and litter all around,our wheelbarrow carts then filled with snow.. our hands were numb from the chill and i went out in the snow to get things from the cart and stepped into the pool of water...wooh imagine the cold running beneath the shoes..the things we brought in carried snow with them , the floor now strewn with ice..hahaha..unforgettable cleaning experience with this tornado room.. all this may seems a real chore to you but it has been really a cool experience to cool a wheelbarrow cart together under the chunk of snows and completed the tasks in such a nice view.. tired yet nice experience which we ended off with a cup of hot hot chocolate.... |
